Dunno why a lot of high profile projects in Singapore seems to
have forgot the other business model. That is to price things
affordable and bring in the masses. With the huge masses, they can
attract advertising, selling food etc and generate income also.
Seems they prefer to play high class, price themselves out of reach
from the majority, make the whole thing look very miserable. With
so little crowd, advertisers won't be interested also, then other
supporting business ideas, like food, also cannot take off.
resulting in not able to generate the final profit, then they blame
on all sort of other things but will never look at how they do
their pricing.
Btw, looking at the wheel, it isn't the highest view around, there
are many taller buildings in the CBD on the other side of the
bridge. The bridge itself offer quite a decent view too.
