Cpt.ZR SG Hahaha.. but in autobahn, the drivers are very responsible one.. and also their lane dicipline very good.. from what i hear frm my neoghbours… they drove at the auto bahn.. when ever the german wanna cut or over take.. they will signal [horn or flash light] to cut you.. and they also follow sthg like overtae only at the left or right.. they dont like SG punks think drive Evo 8 very big F cut here cut there… they are very good drivers there..
markzz SG Put a Kayu S'pore driver on the AutoBahn..see wad happens? haha.. It must be stressful for normal folks to drive there..too slow, u kana book for road hogging! Too Fast, risk buanging! Whoa... But I agree.. most Westerners are gentlemanly and responsible drivers!

ceecookie SG no lah.....130km/h from Causeway can reach upper bukit timah in 15 min.... actually if u want to test ur car's top speed u can go to the N-S highway..its a official illegal autobahn....
Kuali Baba SG That's quite a contradiction in terms. But seriously it's not safe; you have tankers, coaches and heavy vehicles plying the highway, little in the way of protection apart from armco, and there are speed cameras.
ceecookie SG yea...certain part...but u can bypass them and speed....the tankers should be on the slow lane so the fast lane should be open for u.....abt fine its quite cheap abt 50-300 ringgits on-the-spot fine...take it as a autobahn fee....

ceecookie SG should be...and lorries should have no trouble hitting 120-130km/h...we hit 130km/h in a Mitsu Canter in NZ without speed limiter.. pics coming out soon on the speed of cars in the autobahn

AE86tofu SG No its not Limited....Military vehs are limited to 50km/h except for a few....mine is limited to 89 cos of gear ratios

AE86tofu SG actually 110km/h on our expressways is good enough liao....dun see the need 2 go much faster....and YES...min speed limit during peak hours....like 50KM/H....that'll ease alot of jams....
sbst275 SG But there are too many exits and they are very close to each other Even so, there is little time for you to slow down and filter to the 3rd lane for turning esp when there is a row of slow moving lorry
