den when i see wad is happening to SG... i will be stirred by emotions n a sense of belonging to take up arms n protect SG... dats if i haven't run already...

lets face it... human basic instinct is self-protection... its juz where you place ur self-protection... some place their self as their country... if my country die i die... but most ppl think if my country die i dun die i still can rebuild my country... but kns if i die who come n help me... rite?

maybe if u asked, "If a CERTAIN country attacks us with their Mat army, would u take up arms n protect SG?"

Frankly speaking, last time when I went Japan, the tour guide told us tat Japan can be consider the safest country ard. Japanese need not lock their doors and they don need to fear of robberies. N their crimes rate is one of the lowest in the world. Btw when I went Japan quite a few yrs ago, the economic is still doing well. How the situation there now, I arent sure.

Hummm, Yes, in term of social security, it is consider safe. but in term of national defence, without the defence force. Singaporean will longer have the freedom to walk along the street. let's take the WWII for example. what our grandma and grandpa suffered through.
