Ladi SG Why study accounting? It is boring. Trust me, this feedback is coming from many many accountants.
Urroh SG http://www.acra.gov.sg/accounting/applications1.html#1 it is accepted by ICPAS. Also can try.. My mistake.
Ladi SG Dunno if things have changed. During my time, NUS was more general and more academic, while NTU was more specialised. If you intend to practise accountancy, NTU will be a better choice.
Urroh SG where got boring? You can deal with budgeting, analysing, auditing, tax and financial services. you can work in banks, alot of companies and in the big 4 accountancy firms. To me, accountancy is a good career to be in.
Xcert SG why would U want people to give U an answer when U already know what U want? ok lar...dun say I not nice... NUS.
xiangster SG I just want to get a general feel of the ppl here about the 2 universities.. see whether will give me new insights or not.. lol... u ti gam one right?
VivId CrItiQuE SG tt website u stated, the contents are not updated.. there's no Bachelor of Accountancy in NUS and i am very sure the accountancy major in nus is not recognised by ICPAS yet
VivId CrItiQuE SG den go to nus. ntu accountancy do not need a shallow person to be in the course. dun come ntu accountancy and bring down our name.
xiangster SG Chill man, thats just my feel. That's why i'm asking for opinions. but.... NUS really ranks higher than NTU.. as a school..
I_love_my_toilet SG I will support NTU. btw is there any diff in SMU n NTU accountancy ? Former is 4 yrs , latter is 3 ?
