had this idea some years back, just recalled it.....
lets say you have a tanker being stalked by a suspicious vessel,
(supposedly this is a indication that a pirate attack is imminent,
according to Reader's Digest article sometime back) ...
-tanker communicates with regional ground control centre
-GHQ sends a nearby force (team deployed of frigate? or COIN a/c)
to investigate
-If threat is id-ed as postively hostile, prosecute with COIN a/c
(eg.OV-10 or smth) or other force
maybe it sounds a little silly, but hey, it was smth tt i
thought of way back in sec 1... any comments?
- i was thinking tt maybe it would be applicable only if piracy
sit gets real bad...but dunno the current sit either...so
