frankly, ALL industralised and mature civilisations face
that..
it's natural..
one must think of the whole world...
every damned country is clamouring for increased population (except
maybe PRC) "for the local economy"
however, you have to think about the whole world right now.. water
is getting scarce, the fact that we are producing food which
nutrient levels are falling, the world is getting its resources
taxed way beyond sustainability, pollution is destroying large
tracts of the planet...
what do we do?
increase the population which puts even more pressure on resources
which are way beyond the limit now?
