I booked my altis yesterday at the roadshow. They are giving me the side skirts instead of the scuff plates. They claimed it is the 2005 new facelifted model. Got new side mirror design, silver trim along door side.

Anyway, what is the difference between the basic model and the deluxe model?

Also, I saw in previous got Mica grey colour.... I tried to ask SE for the availability, but got a no from them, saying BM dun have Mica grey. Is it true??

Need your advice. Will the installation of z-slab, strut bar etc void our engine warranty? Also, how much does it cost to install the scruff plates (illuminated ones) for altis... Thanks in advance

I got my for $100 + $40 (installation) illuminated scuff plates

interesting... i saw the altis with the full bodykit (side skirts, front lip and rear lip), do go see if u think it's nice... i have my reservations about it especially the displays all came with stock 14" rims....but i didn't check out if it was part of the package now...

BM has Mica Grey...just that probably no stock till Q1 2005. Current booking for Vios with delivery Feb 05, Altis 1.6 Feb 05 too. Altis 1.8 selected color = almost immediate...

Ok, I got confirmation from my SE. Elegance Package consist of leather seats, wooden panels, side skirt, front bumper spoiler (lips), rear bumper spoiler, boot spoiler. All for 69k + on 1.6L.

Corolla 2005 (USA version) = Altis 2004 (Taiwan) = SG Altis.

I believe the current facelift is very minor and cosmestic...probably will be close to 100% as the US model.

Wow it’s got a spoiler… hope its a good one and doesn’t spoil the look of the car… didn’t see the spoiler at the motorshow though…

now I am confused, at motorshow altis got body kit includes front and rear lips and side skirt but no boot spoilers but Ed says his SE confirm got boot spoiler.

1) Side Skirts
2) Scuff plate (normal ones, non-illunimated)
3) Front and rear lip
4) rear spolier identical to yours

Do you or any other Altis bros/sis kbnow the prices of the above? Also, Any recommendations of good and affordable workshop for these add-ons? Btw, I'm staying in sengkang. Thank you once again in advance Mr. Green

Hey Renoma.. sorry to spoil ur day but that grey altis just happened to park at my house....took a pic of it from my window...my is a dark blue one...

only mods are the illuminated scuff plates, 16" rims, mud guards and z-stab....

for the non illuminated scuff plates...i've been quoted $65 at Car Beauty at Eunos quite a long time ago... or u can try Express Motion along Upper Thomson near the Famous Ampang Yong Tou Foo....i had my illuminated ones done there.. they have the non illuminated ones there too...

got it before it was commercially launched... 70 bucks... it's the not well packaged black box... i felt that it did make a difference, smoother acceleration... and engine was less hesitant after reaching 100km/h compared to stock...
maybe i should take it out one day to test it again, wondering if it's all psychological...

Did you go for 17" rims to reduce the awlful high wheel arch or something else?

I do not like the high wheel arch as it caused some bouncy effect. Will be lowering my car with Eibach prokit next week to reduce the bounce and body roll and also give me lower Centre of gravity. Still stick to my 15" as it is faster.
