well, for cdos, they have to go for selection and interview, so
they have to be selected first. there is prestige to be in cdos,
whether u are there by choice or by force
for normal units, most of the time, they are there due to no choice
and often unwilling to be there too.
having said that, i had seen cdos with marksman badge missing 90%
of the 100m range with their sar-21.
I will rather prefer quiet soldiers who can shoot well than
aggressive soldiers who can't shoot for nuts.
Aggression, imho, is just a facade to others who are looking.
Seen other countries' soldiers before, deep down they are all still
soldiers, aggressive behaviour is only shown when their higher
management is around, they tend to slack around when there is no
camera or high ranking officers nearby
It occurred to me that whether it is a conscript army or
professional army, there is no difference if you look beyond the
stern facade on display.
If you are a nsman, then you should know by now, despite bulging
tummies and LBVs loaded with every kind of snacks, taking off
helmets and smoking during movement to contact, when it comes to
the main crux(clearing enemies trenches on a hill), i dare say they
do it much better and faster than nsfs
That was their 6th ICT if i remember correctly
