well, that phrase is really a abstract, and sometimes misleading
statement..but yet, it is true in certain sense..
when you scold your children, its because you want them to learn
something, you dont want them to do the wrong thing or
something..yes, some may argue that the same result can be produced
by the 'talk nicely until you listen' method or something, but that
does not take away the fact that the intention behind the scoldings
is good...
of course, there are those who scold and hit simply to vent their
anger...
