One question can easily confirm what breed your hamster is
:
Does it run about damn super fast (macham hyper; damn difficult to
catch when running outside cage)? Or does it move at normal,
hamster-like speed (ie. easy to catch outside cage)?
If your hamster is hyper, it's breed is robovorski (meaning
"robust").
If your hamster is normal speed, it's breed is Winter White
(variations of this breed are pearl white, yellow pudding,
etc).
The other, large-type (macham guinea pig) golden hamster is
Syrian.
I've a loving couple (always snuggling with each other, male and
female) of winter whites; I considered buying a robovorski pair,
but they're too hyper liao.
