i installed mirage. still waiting for a hot day to test the heat rej. However, even with the morning sun, I can feel the heat at places with direct sunlight....

If u guys wan good film at a cheap price, look up for ultra film. The film is thick and not too dark. Prob is tat he doesnt have any helpers. So installing the film’s gonna take a long time. But the price is Flexible, very flexible=)

Er.. How about a mitsubishi spacewagon chariot.. how much will it cost for the best package possible with the lowest heat & light transmission.. btw i only heard of huberoptics, vkool, and rikecool and avcool.. wads the diff etc. and are there any other brands.. any links that I can go to also.. cos i wanna do for my car.. total 8 windows including front and rear windscreens =/ thank you pple i realli dunno anithing abt solar films so hoping for sum help.. any list of all the locations possible to do solar film and more information? thanks thanks

actually it;s very impt to have customer service for such 'not-so-established' film brands. Mine's from nanolux..$400+ i think..customer service is good.. look for a guy called alvin

edddie: you installing the film on your own or do you haf a proper workshop for it. It is impt to haf a proper workshop while installing the film so as to prevent dust from sticking onto the films. I can tell you.. I used to have a lobang to install HUPER OPTIK at $400+ dats a damn good catch! but it's not directly from huper and not installed at their main office.. It's jus some guy who used to work there and now he quit and manage to get the films and do his own installations. However, i dun trust these ppl as they cant give u much SOLID gurantee.

sim lim haf lots of IT shops..offers 10yrs even 20 yrs warranty oso can..if they close shop in 3 mths..all warranty void..so conclusion..look for established ones

I just got a quote for a v kool installation for my MPV from a v kool authorised dealer at bukit timah.. over $1,400++ for front v-kool 75 and rear vk 40.. good or bad deal? lifetime warranty too.. if you guys say its good i’ll go ahead wif it.. if not some advice pls?

My last two rides are l have install V-kool. They are proven product. I suggest you ask them for better price.

The film is good, but the price is steep! I suggest you hold out for a while, some one with a promotion might come around sometime. Either way, I think you will find the film worthwhile.

zaxis.. i think its reinstall.. anyhow $1400 is after discount.. they said this price is high cause my choice of film VK 75 front and VK 40 rear is the best i can get and its an mpv.. thank you for your comments but i do want to lower the price still is there any other way.. he sorta refuses to budge.. =/

how come the heat rejection so little and still so expensive? 75/40% for $1400?
Other films are like 95/98% at less than 1k...

pai seh, din research enuf. Now then know the number is not infrared rej percent. But I still feel v-kool is very ex for the heat rej. What do you guys feel abt this film? can get so many cheaper films with equally high heat rej. Why some ppl still go for v-kool?

You can try Vkool mirage if you want. 3 mths ago fix for SGD$599 nett.

did u do mirage? Is it effective in blocking out heat? I have a lobang at $450 only. Although very attractive when compared with its usual retail price, it is still significantly higher that other brands...

Vk mirage is ok. During hot days when on a/c speed2 at 75% cold, the car can cool down quite fast as around 10mins. at night less then 1 min cold already. If you are hitting Vpower you will feel even colder fast. But I must admit, when I fixed it at 599, its quite steep. The lifetime warrenty for defective or bad worksmanship is not a bad deal as long as you dun get your screen broken. Its actually proven that Vk is one of the best quality films in the market if compare to 3M or other brands. But since you are using for a MPV, the price definately will be steep. The $1400 u getting if i am not wrong is the highest grade approved by LTA . If you use mirage should be around 800 nowadays.
