In the Marvel world, there is only one person who MUST stay dead: Benjamin Parker.

Otherwise, Spider-Man would lose his main reason for carrying on.

Likewise, Thomas and Martha Wayne must stay dead in the DC world, or Batman loses his main reason for his vigilantism.

i think in marvel universe, there are 2 types of superhumans. those who are born with mutant abilities, and those who are born normal, but due to later events in their lives, they gained superhuman abilities, like spiderman.

captain america went through some experiments which gave him added strength, speed, agility, stamina etc. so i guess he's considered superhero ba, that experiment also gave the black cat her powers.

If anyone of u had caught the series when Professor Xavier turning evil after his evil alter-ego -> triggered when he mind-sweeped magneto's memory and caused him to transform into a very powerful villian ( ehhh i forget the name ).

Many superheroes such the Fantastic Four, the avengers ( ironman etc), Captain Amercia, the incredible hulk had all sacrificed their life but they all come back to life lah.

Onslaught. combination of magneto's and xavier's abilities.

they did not die, mr fantastic's son, franklin richards with his special ability(forget what liao) transported them into a mini world which he carried around like a toy(blue sphere).

somehow the heroes realised that they did not die and manage to break through the sphere.

as for cpt america, if im not wrong, a girl ran to his side and killed him by shooting him at the stomach area. he wasn't actually killed by the sniper. heard from other sources which are quite reliable.
