hi guys and gals

I am in abit of a problem. I am grad. with higher nitec in electronics eng. and still serving my NS but i managed to disrupt my ns to study full time. Disrupting in April.

I got into electronic eng. in TP (this was my back up plan) initially i wanted a business course (business Process & system engineering in TP) but due to my nature of my study background (which is electronic engineering and without the best gpa)

I am offered Property Development & Facilities Management in SP. A course in which I have no interest nor knowledge of. I spoken to a few students from SP they gave me positive feedback of the course though. Main reason being : chances are that the course you studied may not be the same as your work in future. And further more I am sick and tired of electronics (I studied four years in electronics)

So my choices are either i take up electronics eng. in TP (which i already got a background)

or Property Development & Facilities Management in SP (which is some new to me)

Please advice me! Thanks you people

you might as well, serve finished your NS, then consider your choice

I considered that too but that also means i need to wait for next year’s intake… And chances are the result are the same… oh btw i intent to serve my ns during poly holiday because i disrupted one and a half month only. And my leave can cover up abt 3 weeks.

try something new and take the property one? its true that these days, ur qualifications may not relate to the work that you do in the future. so who knows, ur engineering background may come in handy some time but so might ur diploma.

NO i studies 4 years of electronics... But its not my cup of tea... I am in a bad position too since i studied 4 years of electronics i had a damn good understanding of it... but at the same time i am sick of it...

i guess u will probably excel in electronics in poly. but then problem is you don't have an interest in Property Development & Facilities Management.

you choose lor, whether u wanna excel in electronics and be a cut above the rest or you have a diversification of skills( property development and facilities management + electronics) ,which is rather unique combination.
