When Driving, DON'T dream!
A few months back, my friend who is cycling enthusiat, was knocked
down by a female driver at a traffic light junction. The light was
green and in his favor, while red was show to oncoming female
motorist.
Now, there's a long drawn out legal action against the female
driver claiming the following from her:
>> a $10,000 racing bike
>> all medical expenses
>> Legal fees plus court time
>> personal damages of up to $20,000
You see, this is how much your dreaminess can cost you. Luckily my
friend didn't die, or she will be looking at some time in jail and
lifetime ban from driving.
Her Police statement was: she didn't see the cyclist, and wasn't
aware that the light was RED. ( I think she must be driving with
eyes closed )
