Even tho I know the story behing the show but after watching it,
cant help but have new profound respect for King Leonidas and the
300s (and others which were non spartan troops)
It occurs to me that, if they didnt make the sacrifice, the world
we live in now may be very very different:
Greek civilization may be wiped out, hence no more stories of Zeus,
Athena, Odyssus, Troy.
No more greek philosophers and historians, greek science and
mathematics advances.
No more Alexander the Great (who was born over 100 yrs after the
battle).
One thing that I still cant resolve is I wonder if I am brave
enough to make the sacrifice that they did given the same
circumstances
