Every year all the dealers always proclaimed New 200X model
which in actual fact is nothing more than a new batch manufactured
in the new year. The current Lancer IS the facelifted model.
Of all major car makers in Japan, only Mistubishi is lossing money.
Hence where got money to fund new car development???? Look at
Galant, aging and no replacement in sight, look at how long it took
for the current Colt to be launched. I read on internet that the
next generation Lancer only due 2007, giving toyotas and such a
great headstart.
