Maximising Study Time

I’m 16 this year and will be taking my Os at the end of this year. The problem isI don’t think I’m really getting the most out of my study time. From what I see, for every 1or so hour I study only about 25% gets in. Does anybody have any ideas on ensuring that the most gets in in the least amount of time? I know mind-mapping is one way thats works.

there is no formula

everyone has different methods
u jus need to find the suitable one........
but most imptly is whether u relli got put in 100% concentration when u are at it or not............

are u familar w wat are u studying?
from wat i feel, u need to go back and revise tat same chapter every now and then, the more u read e same thing, e easier to understand it, u dun even need to memorize things...

try to study at least an hour each day. its not how much you do at one shot, much how often you do it. learn to take breaks.

oh, mind maps are good also.

try to draw links between different concepts and understanding the stuff as a whole, it will help in recalling facts and details.

by the way its good that you are starting now Mr. Green . i'm taking my a'levels but i have barely started Crying or Very sad

well try studying it with friends, last time I study for o level, we went to mac to study ... eat , study , chat , play and test each other!

Can motivate each other!

if very rush, ask ur friends with she makes notes then can shares notes!!

examples : GG test , chapter 1, 2,3 she/he does, then chpt 4 , 5 ,6 u do! Very Happy

How I study har?

I dun.

I just dun sleep in class and pay attention lor. Then go home, eat, sleep, play, shit.

One month before exam, do the maths' (A. Maths and E. Maths) ten year series questions. Then Maths can pass liao, but getting good result is a matter of luck lah. Wink

dun care so much about getting how many percent out of ur study time, just try to get the best u can, gradually u will be more efficient at it....

clarify doubts if necessary, and make sure u do it urself again, write it out or read to urself at least 5 times to get it in.....

If you are studying with a friend, find a friend who is quiet, nerdy and helpful. You said you studies 1 hour with 25%, then you should studying more hours with breaks intervals lor.

So theoretically, you should study 4 hours to get 100%. Take 15mins-30mins breaks in between lor.
