What is so good about the NH90 that makes it more suitable than,
say, the Blackhawk(assume we really need to replace the SPs)? It`s
a utility helicopter that serves as a transport helicopter and has
a secondary role as a gun-ship. This is not a fighter jet. It is
not going against other helicopters or planes.
Do not waste money unnecessarily. If a cougar or blackhawk serves
the roles just as well, then why not? There are systems where we
would want to get the latest in hardware. And there are systems
where meeting the requirements would be sufficient. At any rate, I
am not convinced that the NH-90 is really better than a blackhawk
with updated systems and avionics. anyone can elaborate more(
whether this is right or wrong)? Thankies
