If you want to buy a new car, first thing, see how much are you
willing to fork out. What will be your budget be.
next, choose a few model in the price range
think how long are you gona drive the car
With tight budget, you can either go for looks or durability but
not both unless you willing to fork out much more.
First day u make payment for the car u already losing money.
Normally for first 2 yrs, will lose 15k on average. Which is
excluding road tax and insurance u are going to pay.
Those second hand car which is around 1-2 yrs old are mainly, the
owner cannot tahan liao or they wan to get rid of car fast(lose
more $$)
Normally, if you are taking a 70% car value loan. After 3 yrs u go
and scrap the car will still get around 10k back after you pay off
the mortage balance which you can use to invest in new cars. (for 7
yr loan there is a 3 yr bond which cannot break or pay $$ or lose
benefits)
For a normal 1.6L car, get ready to spend around 15k-18k a year
including tax, installment, petrol, season parking etc etc. If you
are earning 4k amonth with not liabilities, you will be safe.
LOLZ
As for car choice, it would be best for u to go down and test drive
it yourself. Individual got their own preference.
