Getting direct from Tan Chong or other car agents?

Is it good to directly buy sunny from Tan Chong or from other car agent?

The other car agent told me that he can help me to save $200-300 and everything else remains the same as from Tan Chong (2.5year free service, 3year warranty)

Is it a good thing to buy from agent to save that $200-300?

Will Tan Chong offer more stuffs to me, though I pay slightly higher $200-300?

i don't have a car right now, so i guess what you suggest may not be true to me.

so the moral of the story is go to dealer if have car to trade in; else go to tan chong for the first car??

but, remember the agent offers $200-300 lower than tan chong leh... tempted.

Have you spoken to someone at TC yet ? Or is it just based on what the dealer says ? Maybe TC can offer the same

200-300 isn't much if u are buying a 50000 car.
its about servicing after u bought the car
tan chong big company so i think even after u buy
u got prob u can go back and ask around
they are more friendly to help

200-300 isnt a lot if u talking about long term,

what if your car encounters problems, over the years u probably spend much more then 300 , if not 3,000 for the maintainance

Just signed last month for a cefiro 230jm. They quote insurance at about 950.
Excess at about 700. At the moment, I am using NTUC. So kepoh, go NTUC to ask. They quote me 750 with no excess. I can also insure my NCB at NTUC but not at AIG. Only problem is that if anything happen, i must go to IDAC first whereas if with AIG, i go straight to TC workshop.

AIG if need to go IDAC...need to pay a fee

In other words, NTUC can be more convenient as both parties (involve in an accident) can get everything sorted out at IDAC first
