vincentchean SG i had diploma but the GPA is below 2. (ha) but i want to go local U (nus/ntu) so i thought the other way is to get Alvl. Qns: possible to do A level on your own ? and pass !!! anione got ani example ?
Hogzilla SG For AO Chinese, can~ No problem. The paper was not that hard. For A lvl Chinese, sorry, they dun allow me to take both at the same time, so cannot tell you. Others, better not.
Ito_^ SG not impossible. but u better enrole into a private school for tuitions and proper teaching. its not O lvls dat easy.
aiglosicicle SG you will need a specialised private home teacher. otherwise it will be really hard... although it is not entirely impossible
bounce34 SG If u really have the discipline and the motivation to study and work alone independently, everything is sure possible! Just get to know some JC students and ask them to help u get notes frm their school ?
pierre^^ SG u already had a diploma Why in ur right mind would u wan to go study another 2 yrs jus to take A-level to go University ... u wan uni education come SIM la or ani other private uni like monash etc dun waste 2 yrs of ur life unless u are telling me u wan ntu nus smu education becoz u cannot afford the uni fees and wan use cpf to pay Den Work part time and study part time !!!
Darkness_hacker99 SG GPA 3.5 and above to 100% a place in uni. Yes, you can do A level on your own. You must have very strong interest in the subjects that you'll be taking. But better that private because the govt say so. You must have practical lesson on science subject before you can register for Private A.
waves SG It's really very hard to do it on your own seriously. Unless you are retaking, then that's another story. You might pass in the end but with below average grades that can get you nowhere. Best to enrol in a private school or engage private tutors who are familiar with the 'A' level curriculum. Actually with determination and discipline, nothing is impossible.
