Hmmm.. the new civic is still no looker..

zgim80 SG

having such a short bonnet gives it a very stumpy look la.. think following latio is a super bad idea.. now look more like city

casshern SG

but the nissan latio sports hatchback is sweet

zgim80 SG

ok la.. but e sedan got identity crisis one..

casshern SG

ya lor, half way there half way here.. dunno wat is it also

to understand why singapore gets the civic sedan and not the coupe from the states or the hatchback from europe. the european model is built in UK, excahnge rates are not favourable and traditionally no authorised dealer has ever sourced japanese cars from europe. the coupe is built in canada and united states so is left-hand drive. japan only builds the sedan version, that is why you get this. by the way the pics shown previously are of the us model. headlights and grille are not the same.

that short bonnet and rump make the cabin look BIG. IMO it looks much better than the City, though it looks taller than the current-look Civic.

Yap this is the right version coming to our shore. I perfer the ones shown in the pics here. Front like current odyessy and a side profile like ex BM 3 series. The tail light used more high tech LED than conventional jewel effect lamp.

sigh, our local distributor alway follow JDM (read conservative & boring). Look at the Accord. The euro one look so much better. The new euro civic also more futuristic looking.

i still think fixed up 1996 civic looks better…

Sigmaprojects SG

they look ok, i’ve only seen sedans here in the states

Civic Si. I like!

Haha.. I would buy the sedan one. Anyway, Honda is coming out with the Civic 1.8 and 2.0 Si.

How different it will look from the US one.. No one will really know until the car launches ba. But I'm definately getting myself one of those. Very Happy

nightsky87 SG

Sorry, I meant KAHMOTOR. Haha.. Anyway, the sales exec told me to wait for the new civic because I originally wanted to buy the Vti HID. So in the mean time, I'm stuck with a Lancer. Confused

i like the 2 coupe civic too bad not coming to sg.. maybe mus try PL.. wad u all tink the price difference of the civic coupe to integra. interesting.. i tink will be like 20k cheaper?

nightsky87 SG

Depends ba. The Civic Coupe has less power than the Integra. But then again, Integra is older compared to Si.

No matter what, Kahmotor wins. So, PI. Very Happy

i had actually posted a similar question, not realising that i could have found the ans here! lol Laughing

i'm curious abt which models KM is actually bringing in... in fact, i had made a booking already. To my knowledge, i heard the lights are like Integra's, until i realised there are other similar models!

Anyway, any other takers on the new Civic?

alexkusu SG

heard it has 197hp. Priced around Us12k mark.
