yes, when you dim the dot down , you can do very precise shot at
long distance. But bvecause it is not magnified! I still feel it is
good up to 400 yards unless your target is big and bright. Howver,
EOtech now sell a add on 3x and 4x magnifier that mounts in the
back and that gives you a good manification like a scope.
I have use it on my freind's 3x mag on the eotech 552.. works great
..
When you get glare and sunnlight... the eotech works great! no
issue on that! infact it worked out better than iron sights! maybe
becasue of the inherit design of the EOtech that it is a
holographic projetion !so! it takes out the glare and parallex
prbem! adding to a wide plane, you can really have very fast
aquisition
