Noisy cabin

Hi guys, i find that my cabin is getting noiser these dayz... What should i do to :quieten" it?

Will changing the tyres help?

Speaking of tyres, how often should tyres be changed, like once a year, or as often as ur pocket allows, lol?? Rolling Eyes

You can apply spray-on undercoaring to the underside of your vehicle that may help a little. Also there is thin sound deadening material you can put inside your vehicle. If that fails play your radio louder.

Change you tires before they're no longer safe...that may be more than a year or less than a year depending on how you drive. There's no need to spend money if you don't have to.

Your tires could possibly be causing noise but I would look elsewhere.

Well, it depends on what kind of noice you're experiencing....wind noise? Tyre noise? Are your tyres balanced and wheels aligned? etc?

If you haven't serviced you car for a while, changing all the oils may help a bit.

Tyres also contribute to noise, but there is no fixed indication how often one should change tyres - there are km-ratings, but they are just a rough guide.

If everything else is OK, the fastest and cheapest way to get rid of the noise is.....increase the volume of your hifi. Laughing

it seems like you're saying the noise isn't from the start but is growing gradually.

could it be uneven wear on the tyre? this could be caused by poor alignment and wrong tyre pressure. uneven worn out tyres can cause vibration and hence lead to the noises.

most of the comfort tyres like aspec hv soft compound tat will harden and then the noise will become loud, can't b helped.

most tyres will last u thru 50,000km at least or abt 2 years. check the thread in any case.

solution: up the audio system voice level. I do not encourage u to apply undercoat to the car to dampen noise, it is not as simple as tat.

my noise is from the road one...
some road will make my cabin very noisy...
i think is because of the tyre running over the road.

Under normal situation a tyre can last up to 2 yrs of usage. A better indicator is to judge from the thread line.

As for the noisy cabin, it is best to locate the source from where the sound comes from and then decide on what to do with it.

Possible explainations of a noisy cabin may be as follow.

1)The rubber on doors need to change.
2)mounting of back seats losen or not well attached.
