well, i am a biker and cars don't check blind spots often. many
times i've taken the centre of the lane and they still come into my
lane like they own in. if you're interested you could do a search
on my topics and you can find a few incidents i've shared in forums
about inconsiderate drivers.
about riding in between traffic. why would someone ride in between
traffic?
1) the motorcycle is small enough to squeeze
2) the traffic is too slow
so, you're in the car. you have aircon, music. and the con is that
you get stuck in traffic, you move slowly.
a bike, no aircon, no music and exposed to the weather. that's the
con. so what's the pro? getting to avoid traffic which normal big
vehicles are subject to.
everything has pros and cons. so it would be appreciated that
people understand the give and takes available on the road.
do bikers learn to squeeze in a jam? of course they do, what's the
narrow plank training for?
like i said, everything has pros and cons. you enjoy your aircon,
the bikers get to head home earlier.
another thing, i am a driver too. so i don't usually b|tch about
how riders ride unless they weave in and out of traffic and seek to
end their lives early.
about the space you have to move left and right, sure you have the
allowance. it is up to the biker to decide if he wants to take the
risk, too bad if he makes a wrong decision and collides with a car.
but then, don't do unecessary things like blocking riders from
moving to the front of the red light queue, like i said again... we
have our pros and cons, so dont' be selfish.
