nopulseisgood SG Hey, do u think that somehow designer of new car seem to be out of touch with the mainstream population?saw the new honda civic picture(not the current model) and was kinda of wondering….am I the one out of touch with reality or is it them? BTW I THINK THE NEW NISSAN LATIO IS ONE HELL OF AN UGLY BITCH!!!.....hee jokin jokin ( srry to latio owners…...)
thingy SG eh... yah true in a way... alot of jap cars are looking more 'continental' nowadays... and the focus is more on 'luxury'.. cos most of them bought over by conti manufacturers?
zgim80 SG It realli is a car with an identity crisis.. i couldn't tell e hatch from e sedan in e beginning But i think latio is an exception la, e new cefiro n civic looks pretty decent
PLC guy SG Because your eye sight hasn't suit the new thing, after some time you will feel its nice, eg toyota Corolla in the begining, all felt it like a pig, now most ppl have accepted it, and become the most popular family car in singapore.
AE86tofu SG In fact most of them are wad....Mazda is owned by Ford,Nissan is Owned by Renault....Mitsubishi is by GM i think and Only toyota and honda are independent
KangZ SG Yeah that's the way things go now.. By the way Mitsubishi is partially owned by DaimlerChrysler..
PLC guy SG yes! hippopotamus. something like that, just joke no ofence corollar owner, i am ex-corollar owner also.
cornyfish2000 SG Well, not all new car models are getting uglier... for instance, i think the JDM version of the Honda Accord can't be considered ugly by any standards, definitely better looking than the previous one. Which makes me wonder.. why the hell did Honda create another model for the USA (and Singapore) market with that forgettable front and the hideous and ungainly backside.
w2k_83 SG Unfortunately over the past yr, DaimlerChrysler has already broken off with Mitsubishi, plunging them into further crisis
SEI SG Just you wait till you see the new C-Class, E-Class CL-Class and CLK-Class all looks like the new mercs
gentlerock SG I think GM recently sold their Subaru shares to Toyota (think it was 8% or 18% or something like that). So Toyota now sort of owns (partially or wholly) Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu, and Subaru.
iveco SG What about Suzuki? Is it still part of GM? Some early-model Swifts were sold in Australia as Holden Barinas.
AE86tofu SG sorry for my mistake...so many companies are being owned by others I got Lost trying 2 find out which is which apart from Nissan
