Actually, considering that you live in a 2-storey house, it's
very ma fan. Getting wireless might not work, since distance is a
problem.
Getting a cable man to fix a cable point might work, but I have no
idea what's the cost.
If you want a long cable, you might as well get a repeater, it's
cheaper. But in the long run, if you are going to add more PCs, you
will cry. Repeaters aren't cheap and neither are LONG cables.
