Ito_^ SG the course would be a "well-rounded" course on both sides. whether u like programming anot, u gotta go through the process. if u dunnoe ur limitations den u can't do up a good storyboard and graphics. not easy sia.
Eternal-fire SG Hmm.. usually games development storyboard is quite sketchy compared to Animations and movies. Graphics wise it's mostly dealing with 3D modelling, and it gets easy if you know what does what in 3D modelling.
Xephone_xenon SG Is it impossible to if you just go straight into game balancing. And not learning all the graphic design. Cause from what i know its totally two different things.
Eternal-fire SG Game balancing is not a job by itself, so well you do need some skills in other areas of games development.
fatslob SG Got fren working in Lucasfilm in Singapore, but he not from poly, he got masters from NUS... everyday his job is brainstorming star wars game concept. So poor thing
ArdusKane SG Nabei, I played most of the SW games liao. I think they created all there is to be created.
fatslob SG Got more coming lah, must support, this time mostly local product leh. Too bad he cant say more about it cos got NDA btw i think his pay is about 3.6K per month, so not that bad lah. This industry got hope, unlike mine.
