Shark forces evacuation of Perth beaches

TWO of Perth's main beaches have been closed and evacuated after a
2 m long shark was spotted approaching the swimmers.
SLSWA spokesman Nick Cuthbert said swimmers were told to get out of
the water and the beach was closed.
Leighton beach, about 2km south of Cottesloe, has also been
closed.
We urge members of the public to evacuate the water, Mr Cuthbert
said.
