why do u need a scholarship for? prestige? career?
sponsorship?
the biggest problems with scholarship are the bonds. since u r
studying in local U. best is to just take the local tuition loan
which can pay fully for your uni fees plus monthly allowance,
comparable to a scholarship.
unless you can get a bond-free scholarship, tat will be the best.
such as uni scholarships, foundation scholarships, and some banks
offering them. the list can be found in the recruit's scholar on
certain saturdays during this period. the junior colleges will also
have handbooks on the scholarships available in singapore.
if u r taking it for the prestige or sponsorship, please do
reconsider as it will determine your path for the next 10 years of
your life. i have many friends who have taken scholarship only to
find once they have started on their bond, it is too late to have a
career change.
and i can assure you that once u start work after graduation, there
will be companies (in the private sector) who will give u enough
renumerations to finish paying your tuition fees in less than half
a year.
