long time ago before it was 'forbidden', i used to go there very
often w friends to swim in the quarries.
I used to go to this particular quarry which is split in the
middle, a path leading down gently to one of the quarry pools with
high cliffs on all sides.
It was simply lovely. Hardly anybody, clear waters, picnic by the
side, dive from the big rocks.
But too bad, too many risk takers who drowned cos they think they
can swim very well but forget that its hard water. So very sadly
now not 'allowed' to go swimming there already.
