What makes me pissed off the most is that the PRC is selling advance air defence systems to our neighbour knowing that that country is our potential adversary. It simply shows that they cannot be trusted despite our garment did many good things helping them developing and promoting their country. We even helped to train their civil servants and offered their folks scholarships to study in NTU and NUS!

The country and most of its countryman can just do anything for money and personal gain without any sense of shyness! Shocked Shocked Shocked

and…nope,, no mass charging in the video… i guess the human wave tactic that we always aspect from the PLA were just another myth from uncle sam. Those video clearly show small unit tactic and tunnel clearing, advance under cover of artillery and ….. flamethrower!

Who do you think sold Malaysia, Indonesia - and whoever else you consider a threat - the bulk of their weapons? Officially, we are NOT even enemies with our neighbours so what's wrong with someone selling them weapons? Where do you think MAF F-18 come from? PRC? Where did Indonesia get most of their tanks and ships?

In fact, PRC is so far a small supplier to our neighbours with the exception of Thailand and Burma.

And don't forget that we ourselves sell weapons to all the countries no one else would touch.

in the asia basin it is anybody game, treaty or no treaty depend upon competing interest. Any action with PRC will be Navy n Air before any land could happen.

even if they dont buy from PRC.. they would have brought from someone else...

we help malaysia learn how to make bullets!! so should we then shoot our Singapore technologies?

the problem isnt PRC selling its weapon.. but rather what malaysia intends to do with those weapons they bought...

in any case... its a normal evolution process... we cannot expect malaysia to forever remain low tech.

hopefully... it will spur our leaders to go the extra miles to maintain our superiority.
