it's not about whether or not you're meant to be together, but
about basic respect; whether she has it for you or not.
it also depends on the situation, if the 2 of u have been together
for quite a while, the foundation has already been laid, your SO is
less likely to run off with someone new all of a sudden. also,
since it's been that long, she'll be more obedient now.
assuming you've only been together for maybe... 1-2 months, some
new fella comes along, doesn't show you any respect at all and goes
all out to chase your ger, what then?
i feel usually this is a lose-lose situation for the us.
you restrict the ger, tell her not to go out with him, she say you
possessive, that she only treats him as a 'fren'. but the guy
doesn't give up and continues, you get angry more and your
relationship is strained. the other fella wins, unless the ger get
that it into her bloody head that she's not just a fren to
him.
you don't restrict the ger, you let her go out wif the guy both of
you knowing very well that the guy is interested in her. she thinks
you're taking her for granted, you lose as well.
that's the fault with gers as well. you know damn well that fella
is interested in you, you keep insisting you're "just frens" but
you continue going out with him. why?
just becoz you think of him as a fren, doesn't mean he does
too.
