joyanz SG yup! dis question haf been on my mind for so longgggggg oso...... wad happen to those pup dat are more den 7mths old? i dun think any1 wun wan to buy a older pup rite? even thou it might be slightly cheaper.... any1 works/ noes some1 who work in a pet shop dat can ans dis question???
ditzy SG Accept the truth, they're put to sleep. Keeping them will only cost more money, no businesses survive just to lose more money. If the pup is lucky, its skinned for its fur, then put to zzzzz, otherwise its just too pointless to keep something alive just for additional liabilities. Old stock don't go, new stock will never come.
mystee SG i dun tink they are put to slp so easily.. even in spca, those dogs that cant find a owner aint put to slp as rumors outside. they will be shelter at spca as long as they found a owner. is clarified at their website. maybe not till a super old age. but i think is definately not at age of 5 n below. maybe those dogs at petshop that cant be sold are used as breeding dogs.
joyanz SG in SPCA dey oni keep those dogs dat got 'potential' to be adopted........ those dogs which dun haf good health or personality wil stil be put to sleep...... i noe got 1 dog SPCA keep for almost a yr because they think she got 'potential' to be adopted, although it takes a yr to do so... its not a fair world huh?
mystee SG not only spca did that.. even dog owners who dogs are not healthy/ with violent personality /old age will put their dogs to slp. so is alwys better to adopt a dog than buy from breeder.. save a life... give the animals a home. once, i brought my dog to vet. saw an old couple carrying a dog. guess what, the dog is so old that she cant eat, cant walk. almost all the organs is damaged or in bad condition. the old couple cant bear to put her to slp. the dog has to be feed on glucose.. i kept thinking, is this right or wrong to keep her alive? but if me, i dun think i will bear to put my dog to slp as well.. he is the most precious one in my live... & i dun think he will wan to leave me as well.... they just live around max 1/5 of our lives, so dont ill treat them.
ditzy SG What's there to see? Just give it one injection, throw it into a trashbag and dump it at lorong halus. Unless you referring to the part where they skin it for its fur, now that's something.
