New Rex at 84K, just bite the bullet and buy it, dun even bother about a second handed one.

1.6TS, spent a few K on the look fast goodies, and u might as well add another few Ks to get a real Rex. Looks fast and goes fast. Worst thing is to look fast, with go fast attitude and only a yawn inducing 99 bhp at the wheels Evil or Very Mad

WRX has 225 bhp VS the TS 99bhp (2.27 times more powerful than the TS), even if u don't know anything about cars, this alone will give u the idea that body apart, they are very different cars.

Be the real Mc Coy, not another wannabe.

I thought TS only 96BHP...

But the FC and maintenance, tax and insurance for WRX is alot higher than a TS...... maybe thats a reason why people rather modd their TS (can cheat themselves and other noobs) as well as enjoy lower FC, or maybe they just like the fierce look on their car, definately not to enhance performance...

If money (esp the expense for future maintenance) isn't the issue.... who don't wanna be the real Mc Coy??????? Laughing

eh how can you say like that. i worked very hard to buy my own car and i love it very much. if money was so easy to earn who would not want a nicer car. i drive a ts and because i cant afford a wrx, i try to make my ts look like one. if the nissan or whatever car model wanna tear me go on loh.

bottom line is we car owner just make the car nice and its nice to drive can liao.
yah sometime i feel sad when other cars eat me but what to do. just enjoy my drive loh.
and whats there to hide face? you drive the car, should be proud of it.

can't say like that. Take fashion as an example. It is alright to try to make yourself look nice in the clothings etc. However ,you become a laughing stock when your makeup and clothings mimic too much of a star. That same person might also say he/she want to look like their idol, but the process is wrong.
Of course everyone is free to mod his car to his liking, but if the mods are not done correctly, it might invite criticsm on the road. Have you ever say to yourself :"wa!, dunno why this person mod his car until like that..."

there is nothing against owning a TS, but if u take as much pride as u claim u do as an owner of your car, u'd accept it for wat it is instead of trying in all the cmi ways to make it wat its not.

u change the shell, but not the soul of the car. speaks volumes for the character of the owner dun u think? Rolling Eyes

after reading this thread, i am more or less confirmed that TS is out of my chioce, fuel consumption is my main deciding factor since price wise they are similar (ex. Multispace).

plus, the new Impreza is out already..
