TehJarVu SG my cousin got AAA and she's from NJC becos she couldn't go to hwachong her sister went to hwachong but got ABB so if u go ACJC and get AAA is better than u go to NJC and get ABB at the end of the day, you yourself determine how you will do in the exams, not the school
aiglosicicle SG i am from njc. yes there are a lot of people around me that study really hard. yes the njc environment is stressful and competitive. yes njc's grey uniform is not exactly pretty. but hey i'm having fun! it really depends on you, the friends and teachers and strangers you hang out with and the things you choose to do. but most important is your attitude. my friend who thought acjc was cool hates his class because he is not christian and he feels ostracised all the time. it is your choice. but if i were you... njc all the way
Diehard_89 SG why compare schools? every school is the same depends on your attitude mah your attitude defines your life
OO_OO_OO SG is that what your parents told you? i can cite you numerous examples which show otherwise. while its true to some extent that results decide your path, at this A lvl stage, it doesnt apply. maybe your theory only appiles to passing or failing O lvls.
Chelzea SG ACS i admire for e school unity they have pride in e sch no sch can beat them, sports n studies so so nia if singaporeans had e same kind of pride in e nation,it wld b a different singapore man maybe shld ACS (barker, independent, intenational, branch, main and bukit timah)
sir sickolot II SG trust me. it doesn't matter which institution you go to. ultimately its you that matters. but if you're the kind easily affected by other people. .. i suggest njc is better. it's a whole lot more sheltered and allows you to grow at your pace. ACJC is a place where u test what you've learnt... put your perspectives and values to the test. A good place for connections and a great place to grow up and wisen up...quickly. Although i'm from the school with the ugly grey uniform.... I won't promote my school... cause like i said... ain't matter which school you go to. It's you at the end of it all.
