we all know that everything that we eat or drink has a expiry date..leaving it untouched for too long, it will spoil

e.g: milk that is left not open for 1-2 months

so what about plain drinking water? how long before it is considered "harmful" for drinking?

Normally if leave overnight or so, lets say around 24 hours, a stale smell will already form inside the bottle.

this reminds me of my saf water bottle i had for guard duty. always full for checking but i nvr drank from it...

this one very contaminated....room temperature is best for the breeding of bacteria.....any water boiled or otherwise left to stand for more than a few days is unsafe....bottled water can last as long as it is unopened...

we all know that boiled water and left to stand has been exposed to bacteria

however, the water which is bottled up has been flitered to a lowest minimal amount of bacteria but how clean the water is, there are still some bacteria in it, so how long does it take before its unsafe to drink?

just that happen today in my CCA room found some bottled water in a box which are not open and the box was quite dusty..so this qns came to mind
