for UV rejection, think they are about the same, but for infra
red, V-cool better.
Go for v-cool if you intend to keep your car longer. spread the
cost out over the number of years and you will be more willing to
pay the premium. Else just get HO. V-cool is about 10-15% pricier
than HO.
If you have not gotten yr car yet, try getting yr SE to install for
you and you pay the SE. They usually gets a better deal than any
discount you can find outside.
I use the v-cool mystic for mine, and got it under 1k thru SE [list
price 1.2k]. Spread over 10yrs and its less than $100 per year ...
1.5 tank of petrol !!!
