Hmm... had a fren who bought a car from them long ago before
they moved away from Marina South and now moved back again. A
little pricey, but everything went quite smooth.
But later on they opened up "Racing Works" garage and a lot of
hoo-ha there and some unhappiness between them and other parties.
Lotsa accusations and finger pointing.
Now Racing works closed down and they are focusing on their
original business, 2nd hand car dealership.
Caveat Emptor is all I can say... should be quite ok if you are ok
with their price and just be cautious of the whole transaction
process and what documents are involved.
It's usually when you trying to squeeze them for good deal, ask for
this and that that there's more chances of things going wrong and
unhappiness might occur.
E.g you squeeze them for new paintjob, then they send and do a
farked up 1, or ask them to repair something and they keep dragging
etc...
If you are not too particular type, shuang-kuai and fast dealing, I
don't think you'll have any problems. They aren't cheaters or
anything, just perhaps a little 'shady' here and there based on the
rumours. But well, I think almost all 2nd hand car dealers are like
that
