ok. yah.. bright lights reflects the fog.
anyway... what car is it? maybe i can give you rough idea can
change or not.
basically if you use industry standard bulbs (H4, H3, 9008, 9006,
etc), yes, you can change. this is mostly found in japanese (H4,
H3) or lower end european (9008, 9006)
if your car comes standard with a HID or Xenon module, then its no.
because it's an entire module that generates 12,000 volts to create
an arc (spark) in the bulb that has no filament. This modules are
usually found on BMW, Lexus, Benz and are mostly optional.
if you change bulb, look for a lower colour temperature rating, eg
3800-4200° K.
your HID is usually above 5000°K
but my advice to you, is you add fog lights. fog light bulbs are
designed to permeate the fog whereelse a yellowish-white bulb
isn't.
Don't confuse fog lights with driving lights. Driving lights are
those small ones you find at the skirt of the bumper. Fog lights
are found at the grille although theres no harm moving it to the
bumper.
PM me if you have more questions, i used to do alot of fog
driving.
