Obersturmfuhrer SG Anyone noticed the low flying C-17 Globemaster over the South on both 12th and 13th this month? A C-40 Clipper transport aircraft followed shortly after the C-17 did a low fly by of my location on the 13th. Boy was it loud even when approaching my direction. Something is going on. Moonstriker SG C-17 globemasters from kadena enroute to diego Garcia Ober: probably they were either landing / taking off from/to PLAB. seen a C-5 Galaxy land @ PLAB when i was in the bus along TPE. juz above the bus it passed.
tek_koh SG yup PLAB is a frequent landing strip for US aircraft including Air Force 1. Be it exercises or stopover sometimes US transport would bring the Presidential Convoy during his visits
Superbus SG A Globemaster landed at PLAB earlier this evening at 1805 hours. Followed by an unidentified B737 approximately 10 minutes later, most probably a C-40.
