in a war, anything goes. You apply the Geneva convention but
that does not neccessarily mean your enemy will do that to you. If
everybody practices Geneva convention, there won't be rapes,
genoicide already.
In a war, every thing is done and the victor dictates the law
whilst the loser bears the brunt and gets tried under so call War
Crimes. Do you believe Stalin didn't commit war crimes? Truman in
ordering the atomic bomb to be dropped is not considered committing
genocide? Everyone shouted that Saddam Huessein is guilty of war
crimes, what about the Iraqis killed by American soldiers or
assinated by the various intelligence units of Israel?
At end of day, if I am captured by enemy in war & if I am a
soldier, I won't harbour hopes of being treated fairly. And if i
capture an enemy soldier, I will hand over to my superior or
Provost, its out my hands.
