Damn, what a bad time to be stuck in China.
I'd definitely wanna go for the shotgun course, man. That's like a
handheld cannon.
I have read in an old SOF magazine where they went to a range
"outside of Beijing" where they paid to shoot military stuff up to
23mm AA and 60mm mortars. But I have no idea where...
The nearest decent range in Shanghai is a at least an hour or two
away, and I am not even sure what kind of firearms they have.
I'd been to one pistol range that's inside a shopping complex along
a Orchard-road equivalent area in Shanghai.
I pointed to a picture on the wall that showed a .38 S&W type
revolver and what they brought was a home-made job about to fall
apart.
The calibre should be .22 and I suspect, and at a very reduced
power loading some more. The bullets are black while the casing is
brass. So I suspect the bullets are not even made of metal,
probably some plastic or something. They gave me ear muffs but it's
laughable as the sound made was pitifully tiny.
And it was expensive. I "shot my load" at paper targets in less
than ten minutes - less than 20 rounds of the tiny little crap
bullets - and it costs me SGD 40.
Anyone know where to shoot the real stuff like AK's etc in China
short of signing up for the PLA?
