Portuguese Culinary Experience! (6 to 7 August 2005)

Package includes 1-night hotel accommodation at Hotel Equatorial Melaka, breakfast, lunch and dinner, one cooking class(including recipes), walking tour to famous Heeren/Jonker Street, pre-trip vehicle inspection by AA mechanics, experienced AA officials and mechanics to accompany participants.

Excludes: Go-Karting charges

Closing Date: Friday 25 July 2005

Please note that the maximum number of cooking participants per class is at 24 participants. Should the response be overwhelming, a separate class will be arranged.

Hi Madagascar,

I bought the kicking plates from TC recently.....Not worth the money (approx. S$200) cos they are made of rubber material and not those steel plates that you normally see on other cars) Crying or Very sad ...I also paid for the door guard but am waiting for it to be shipped to Singapore in 60 days' time.... Still on the lookout for the door mirror cover with the turn signal light but unfortunately, TC does not have the bean green colour one for my car..... Anyone know where to get these mirror covers where the appropriate colour can be sprayed on to match the colour of our cars?

Yeah, what is a kicking plate? By the way, i saw that Tan Chong is selling sports rim for the K 12, which i think, fits the stock tyres. Saw it selling at 380 SGD!! See below!!

Hi Madagascar,

The kicking plate is a piece of rubber or metal (for other cars) where you fix it beside the car seat (just below the car door). I know some car drivers had it fixed so that they can step on the edge of the car without scratching them....For our small marchies, dun think there is a need to pay S$200 over dollars for 4 pieces of rubbers which serve no purpose.

You managed to order the bean green side mirror with indicator lamp? TC told me that they only have stocks for red, orange and black....Urrgggghhhhh.... Sad

The side mirror indicator has to be spray with our Bean Green colour as Nissan Japan do not have such a colour yet.They only have the basis colour like Black, red etc. However you need to pay extra $40. Will you be installing it?

The original K12 window Visor from Japan if order from TC cost 77.2 excluding GST & Installation charge. If you know how to dIY, u can install yourself.If not, pay extra $30. However the quality of the original March visor is better also.

The side mirror indicator lamp cost $345 excluding GST & installation (ard $50-$60). If they do not have yr car colour, you have to pay additional $40 to spray the colour.

I thought Nissan March 14e alr come with the sport rim already. Is the sport rim you posted different from the one fitted in the March 14e model.

Hi Madagascar,
This forum got people who not driving 14e leh..The 14C comes with wheel cap cover and not sports rim.
I have no idea if this rim is any different from 14e, since i driving a 14cC... any one else has comments??

Hi all,

The rim in the photo sells for 380/set of 4, but they are 14" rims. The rims that come with the March 14E are 15" and cost $635 each!! Big difference. By the way for that price those rims are not forged rims. Forged rims costs about $300/pc in other shops. Take your pick.

What is a door visor?

I drove a car some years back with window visors. I assume they are those plastic things you wedge on top of the window on the outside. If you wind down your windows slightly, some air/wind will come into the car to cool it without disrupting your hairdo. Am I correct?

If so I feel its a waste of time as the 'air' coming into the window is quite warm and will do little to cool the car. Further they make a lot of wind noise and cause unnecessary wind friction. This is the biggest disadvantage. This works well in cold countries as the outside air is cold and is just suitable to cool the interior. Its like driving a convertible in Sgp. Further if the quality is poor the plastic will discolour with age, otherwise it is just another example of a cosmetic mod.

As for my experience I never used it and did not bother as it came with the car, even when it was raining. Hope this is useful.

Yes. I will definitely install the side mirror indicator. Maybe, the chap in TC Parts Division is ignorant of the spray painting.... By the way, does the visor serve much purpose?

Great. Then we will have 2 Bean Green March with side mirror lamp indicator. Initially i am getting solar film from my SE but has now changed to the lamp indicator. Guess it would look nice on our march as well as enhancing safety as the car in front are now able to see our signal. Have you placed an order yet? Surprised Very Happy

Yes... I think it will look cool on our March. I have yet to place an order with TC...A little pissed off with them. Will hunt around elsewhere first and if I can't get it, will turn to TC. Still trying hard to dress up my Marchie with more accessories.
