fondue SG Actually I read somewhere (here or other forum) that driving with a full tank gives better fc compare with an almost empty tank cos : 1. More fuel, higher fuel pressure so lighter footing on accelarator. Whereas with less fuel n lower fuel pressure so tends to press harder on accel to feel the pick-up. After reading about this, I realise this the true for my style of driving , so have been pumping full tank every visit. 2. Half a tank of fuel should ave about 25kg for most car. Impact on FC should be min. 3. Was also mentioned that when always driving with less than 1/4 tank, fuel pump will have less fuel to cool down, so it may affect the lifespan of the pump. Except for (1) that works for me, am not to sure about the rest. Maybe someone or the person who posted this before can share or clarify.

Spook SG From Channelnewsasia Lower pump prices at Shell and SPC stations Shell and Singapore Petroleum Company have reduced their pump prices. Shell lowered their prices from noon on Monday followed by SPC one-and-a-half hours later. Shell Formula 98, Shell Formula 95, Shell Formula 92 and Shell Diesel were cut by three cents per litre. Shell V-Power now costs two cents less per litre. Shell says the reductions are because internationally traded finished product prices have started to ease.
