dork3d SG Swatch Irony Automatic series, Seiko Kinetic series, Titus Automatic, Victorinox Automatic, Rolex Speedmaster series, Rolex Oyster series, Tag Hauer S-Link Automatic series, Tissot Seamaster series…
dakkon_blackblade SG There are mechanical movements and quartz movements. Your average Casio uses quartz movements. Mechanical movements can only be found in very high-end watches such as Jaeger-le-Coutre and Franck Muller. Watches combining analog and digital display can easily be found, for example, from Casio’s G-Shock range.
Gedanken SG Analog-digital watches are battery powered. Purely mechanical watches are analog only. Now I'm not sure, but Seiko's Kinetic system and Citizen's Eco-Drive use a wrist-movement driven rotor to recharge batteries, and so some of these MAY be analog-digital, but I'm not familiar with either range of watches - I only use mechanical watches.
