how to connect IPOD to car stereo system?

Hi All

I heard that we can tune to certain frequency in the car stereo system to play the IPOD in the car, is that true?

if we need to use cable connector, how to make the connection then?

anyone can share?

U need a FM transmitter by Belkin… or 3rd party one

Belkin is a company name..like Apple or Creative. They make products for Ipod to increase its functionality like FM transmitter so u can play in cars, microphone so you can use ur ipod for recording, etc. They assume people who have ipods can afford their products that increase Ipods functionality Wink

unless u haf a dvd player wif multimedia capabilities built into ur car, i'm afraid cable connections r not possible.

itrip(or igriffin or any other fm transmitters) do not provide cd quality music from ur ipod(cos its radio mah+e transmitter can get interference) can be purchase from 69 to 89 bucks. Very Happy

if you havean audio input, you can just plug it into the ipod audio output. Only problem is that my car radio only have cd, cd-changer and fm mode. Read from menu say got aux mode, but dunno how to get it. Prob will ask the mech during my 1k serviciing.
