That is somewhat incorrect. The carpark must have the "SEASON
PARKING WHOLE DAY" sign to make it season parking after coupon
parking hours are over. If there is no sign, the carpark is FREE
after coupon parking hours.
Like Newton Circus hawker centre carpark and the carpark near Al
Ameen (bt timah) prata place. Free after 10pm, as confirmed by a
mail by URA when I enquired with them.
Season parking lot fines are $50... and normal lots without coupon
is $30... normal lots with expired coupon is $6 for 1st 30 mins
passed, $10 for 1st hour and $20 after tat.
If ya parked in a "SEASON PARKING WHOLE DAY" carpark after coupon
hours are over (yes, the lots are white), you will still be fined
$50. Can always try to appeal that its late and you didn't see the
sign, and u really did put a coupon, at least try to appeal to
bring the fine down to $20 if not waived.
