mean if DISEL always manual gear no AUTO. Disel goods vehicles road tax is more expensive than norm car? Petrol goods vehicles road tax just like norm car?

I think they were referring to a handful of Kangoo berlingo van on the road that are actually petrol driven and register as private cars.

Dun think anyone is abusing the system.

What if…. i were to buy a 2nd hand LCV that was bought and registered BEFORE the implementation of the compulsory company registering thingy? How????

So long its a new registration or transfer must be under company name

I just ride in my fren Opel Combo the today, its really refined and powerful. He used to drive an Lancer , he said this van is much more powerful and smoother than his previous ride. I test drove his combo before , I must agree with him. In fact its also very stable like a rock and run like a wind. Try it and you know what i mean. Definelty better than a CIVIC

for ur info, its using opel/vauxhall powered euro4 standard 1.7tdi with 100bhp

Its the Europe Honda Diesel that are sharing the same engine as the Combo 1.7. Yap..Its Isuzu engine cause GM bought over Isuzu as well.

Honda engine or not ..it is really good. I am amaze with the refinement and power of a commercial vehicle.

Seriously if I can register privately as a car i m sure i will give nissan , toyota a miss.

Long ago, it used to be that you can just go purchase a van without the need of a Business Registration Number, and the Business Address Label on both sides of the commercial behicle.

After some time of people taking advantage by buying commercial vehicle for private usage, LTA imposed the requirement of a Business Registeration prior to buying a commercial vehicle.

If NO ONE is abusing the system, then cows sure won't crap on the pastures they graze on!!
