The car park is already open... Huge carpark... go deeper into the carpark because tht's where the entrance to the NTUC is... parking is free for first hour...

Actually I feel the same as you guys too.... From the looks of the mall which is now still in quite a lot of construction mess, it seems not as big as they claimed... but it is the largest neighbourhood mall so far.... so it cant be that bad lah Laughing

- Junction 8 is quite big after the extension (AMK hub is bigger)

- Jurong point is quite big and it holds quite a lot of stores (AMK hub is bigger)

- Tampines mall is quite big too (AMK hub is bigger)

- etc.

Hahahaha so think of all the big neighbourhood malls and then tell yourself that AMK hub is bigger and then it will be bigger.... It's a fact! Laughing

Jurong Point is 408,000 sq ft while AMK Hub is 350,000 sq ft.

When Jurong Point extension is completed in 2009 (Prime Point), the combined space will make it on par with Marina Square and City Square (to open in 2008 ) on a joint ranking of 5th and a total lettable space of 700,000 sq ft.

Wow! Nice stats... where did you get them from? sounds very true... but how come I read from quite a few article that says AMK Hub is the biggest neighbourhood mall? Jurong Point is not a neighbourhood mall?

Anyway, there is a reason why they want to make Jurong Point so big... It is to entertain all the people living in the West... For all these people, going to town is such a chore, so they'll most probably go to Jurong Point for entertainment.... whereas for certain areas like AMK, going to town isn't an issue at all...

AMK Hub looks big but really a huge portion of it is the air-conditioned bus interchange. I expect too see a Giordano, a Watsons, another 7-eleven, maybe a Guardian, and a coffee bean. It is sooooo predictable.

Don't think it would be better than Junction 8. By the way, the name - AMk Hub - SUX!
